Our presentation: the most amusing bit of that is that the thing which everyone rememebered from our demos was the graph visualisation done with h3 (http://www.cs.ubc.ca/~tmm/software.html) This is what meder had hacked within 20 mins on the day before the presentation thing. ie. if u want to impress ppl - go visual :)
Xen virtual machine - this was the first time I come across this stuff. Sounds very funky, overhead is only 3% (!!!) (for ref. vmware gives u 20-30% overhead) so I guess the next box I'd be looking for, would have to have intel vt or AMD pacifica cpu support, so i could try this stuff there. (it also works with older architectures for linux, but you'd have to have the patched kernel).
There wree other cool things too, I'll go thru them bit by bit as I have time. :)
Met up with kj_synack. :) Didn't know he had a "skuba-diving master" status.. ha ha! Too bad we still haven't managed to pay visit to his home, planning for the 2nd year by now. :) One of 'absoltely-has-to-be-done' things in my TODO for the next year.. :)
We'll redo our o0o.nu stuff again. we'll have wiki online. we'll have more cool toys to play.. hoho!! :) someone told me I had too much of the blue pills last day (not the viagra ones, the soft-wared ones :))
